It's Time For The Original Bloodline To Reunite

On a recent episode of Friday Night Smackdown, the “OTC” Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso cut one of the most story driven promos as of late, only having fans interested in what happens next. Roman Reigns returns at SummerSlam on a mission to get back his ula fala and rightful spot as THE Tribal Chief of the WWE from his cousin, Solo Sikoa; however, Sikoa isn’t alone. Since the Smackdown after Wrestlemania 40, Sikoa has been leading his own bloodline while kicking Jimmy out and running Smackdown alongside Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. Even with the victory at Bad Blood over Solo’s Bloodline teaming with WWE champion Cody Rhodes, the war isn’t over.

Back in 2020, the original Bloodline started. The newly crowned WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns, and the Usos with wise man, Paul Heyman. As heels, this Bloodline, similar to the one that’s led by Solo, ran Smackdown from start to finish. Majority of the most talked about and watched segments from each episode was from the Bloodline. With his wise man to his side, Reigns would carry the entire company on his back for 4 years as Universal turned Undisputed WWE Universal Champion defeating legends such as John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Edge, and Daniel Bryan. As for the Usos, Jimmy and Jey would become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions on May 20, 2022 defeating RK-Bro (Riddle and Randy Orton) to solidify their placement in WWE tag team history.

Everything was on the up and up for the Bloodline. Even with the Usos and Paul Heyman, along the years, Reigns would recruit Solo Sikoa and Honorary Uce, Sami Zayn. This collection of the Bloodline carried the company to some of the biggest segments and matches in WWE in 2022 and 2023. Wrestlemania 39 and 40 would be the demise of the original Bloodline however. At the Royal Rumble PLE in 2023, Zayn would turn on Reigns and the Bloodline with a chair shot to the back on Reigns after refusing to beatdown his friend Kevin Owens and the fall of the Bloodline started rolling then. At Wrestlemania 39, Zayn and Owens defeated the Usos to capture the Undisputed Tag Team titles and one year later, Reigns would lose his championship to Cody Rhodes. Reigns is now a Chief without a tribe.

During the 6 month absence of Reigns from WWE television, Solo recreated his own version of the Bloodline and created an atmosphere that no one could’ve imagined. Jacob Fatu is an absolute monster, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are WWE Tag Team Champions and Sikoa has shown that he can hang with the very best of them, including Reigns himself and Cody Rhodes. With Bad Blood now in the books, WWE’s Survivor Series War Games is slowly approaching, it’s time for the original Bloodline to return to officially take down Bloodline 2.0.

Two out of the four of the original Bloodline have already reunited with Reigns and Jimmy Uso and the countdown has officially begun with the anticipation of Intercontinental Champion, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn coming back into the fold. It only makes sense to do this match in the War Games match to properly end this long feud, or maybe it’s the start of something even greater. Rumors have been spiraling that The Rock has been the one behind the madness of Bloodline 2.0 and with his return at Bad Blood, it’s only a matter of time when things get even more interesting towards Wrestlemania season.
