The Chicago Bears fell to the Indianapolis Colts 21-16 in today’s game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Caleb Williams had a career-high 363 passing yards and two touchdowns, which included his first career touchdown to rookie Rome Odunze making that his first career touchdown. Williams also made some mistakes, committing three turnovers, including two interceptions and a lost fumble.
The Bears scored their only two touchdowns of the game in the fourth quarter, but couldn't overcome another double-digit deficit. Struggling to get the offense going is not the key to win games, as they keep looking for answers.
One bright spot for the Bears has to be Rome Odunze, who caught six passes for 112 yards and a touchdown marking that is his first career 100 yard game. Other notable Bears that made impacts were DJ Moore who caught eight balls for 78 yards, and Cole Kmet added 97 yards on 10 receptions and a touchdown.
The Bears are now 1-2 and will return home next Sunday to host the 1-2 Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field. This has to be a must win game for the Chicago Bears.
