“We will be better” said rookie Caleb Willams in his first post game press conference of his career. The first overall pick in this years draft, Caleb Willams, struggled in his debut completing 14 of 29 passes for 93 yards with no touchdowns or turnovers. He was only able to lead their offense to three field goals with multiple missed throws and sacks being taken. He became the first quarterback that was picked number 1 in the NFL draft to win their debut since 2002. He commented on the game talking about on how many missed throws he had, and how he has to be better as the Bears take on a 2023 playoff team: the Houston Texans.
The bears are looking to build off their comeback win with a date with the Houston Texans on Sunday night football. With both teams being 1-0 that will be a good test on who is legit football team this year.
