The Chicago Bears were able to get to win number 2 on the season beating the Los Angeles Rams 24-18 at Soldier Field, Making the Bears 2-0 at home this season. The Bears' D'Andre Swift had a very impressive game, generating 165 yards from scrimmage and scoring a touchdown and making it the best game he has had as a Bear. He rushed for 93 yards on 16 carries, including a 36-yard touchdown, and caught seven passes for 72 yards showing his duel threat ability in the passing game as well.
Caleb Williams in his 4th NFL game went 17 of 23 passes for 157 yards with one touchdown and no turnovers, earning a career-high 106.6 passer rating and getting his second win as a starter for the Chicago Bears. The Bears' defense was also on point, really putting them as one of the top defenses in the league, allowing only one touchdown and forcing the Rams to settle for three field goals. Jaquan Brisker, who was the defensive MVP for the Bears, led the team with 12 tackles, one sack, and a game-sealing interception.
The 2-2 Bears are set to face off against the 1-3 Carolina Panthers next week at Soldier Field. The Bears lead this series all time with a record of 8-4-0 against the Panthers, with their most recent win being last year with a 16-13 victory lead by now backup quarterback Tyson Bagent.
